The Cynics W/Jake Starr[former Adam West frontman]
Thursday April 4th at Quarry House Tavern in Silver Spring
9:30 PM
Free

If you like garage rock then this is the show for you…these guys are influential legends from Pittsburgh who started in the early 80's and rock hard and fuzzy

jake starr & the delicious fullness put on a fun show, too.  an opener worth making it there early for.  i believe they go on a 9:45, the cynics at 10:30 or 10:45.

Cynics are so great…have not seen them in many years wish i could make it to this one.
No, seriously?

I could buy a nice guitar for that price and play the songs myself.

5/30 would be a funny date, they're in chicago in 5/28.  it's not impossible but the end of june would make more sense according to http://www.fuse.tv/2013/04/rolling-stones-tour-dates-50-anniversary but who knows with those old farts.

Definitely not impossible… Roadies load up post show are in DC in 10 hours. Mick and band each get on their own private jet the morning of the 29th and are in DC in an hour!

I think it won't happen… they need two nights between shows…they need to take it slow… Keith can't really do much any more…

sad but true…
