He's just saying that to drive up the price promoters will offer them to play more gigs. If it seems less likely to happen then I'm sure that people will pay more $$.

2012.. they papered it by giving away free tickets.. i just didn't feel like the long drive.. not a huge fan to say the least… at least if marco pirroni was with him!

Unfortunately, the "classic new wave act" can be a tough one to sell here. I don't recall us giving away tickets to anything recently, though.

The Adam Ant show was back in October 2012, and it was pretty damn good.
