this is what happens when trendy restaurants host musicians.  stick with the guava bbq pork ribs, which are devine.  they don't care what you listen to.

I saw her on Jools Holland with her band and that was some jaw-dropping stuff!
There's a bit too much going on style-wise on her cd's (for me) but that James Brown type thing she does is killer.
I could stand a whole show of that.

Even worse conflict now. I was going to hit the Union Transfer in Philly to FINALLY see Killing Joke on 4-21.
Only the venue's site has that gig listed. KJ's facebook and site don't have it up. I wonder if it will even happen with KJ's track record lately.

Finally! I missed them opening up for SVI a couple of years ago.
(their show HAD to correspond with finals that year)

Hope 9th and Beats is not as clusterfucktastic as Desperados although I hear it is connected to a sports bar which sounds ominous.

I am on 'the list' for the Cymbals Eat Guitars with Mittenfields this weekend, so I will let you know how clusterfuckerific it is.  Ive heard good things…
