Just Announced

wasn't sure if I should have posted this in the beer thread

Wednesday 27 May 2015
The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion
Abbey Bar, Appalachian Brewing Company, Harrisburg, PA, US (about 2 hour drive from DC)

He does like doing their shows at breweries :)

also I didn't add Tom or Milo (or Sterling Morrison) as they didn't have Math related Dr
so yes Astrophysics is kind of pushing the envelope on being mathematics…but there is a lot of math in all physics

They should invite Damon Che from Don Caballero.

The could also invite these Rock Drs

Gregg Turner (Angry Samoans)?Mathematics, Claremont Graduate University (currently teaches at New Mexico Highlands University)
Phil Alvin (The Blasters)?Mathematics, University of California, Los Angeles
Brian May (Queen)?Astrophysics, Imperial College of London

Che's not a doctor as far as I know, just mentioned him for the "math rock" angle of Don Cab.

Skunk Baxter might not be a doctor, but he's pretty damn smart. I know he still lives in the region.

^closet astrophysicist?
Totes an astrophysicist.
