I don't really think DAR is that bad of a place for the band to play, provided you get good tickets.
i hope not cause this sounds like a splendid bday present to give myself!
All their pre-sales are done through musictoday.

The 930 ones were too.

RE: Live Nation, I'd just rather not give my money to huge chains. Like I've said on here before, it appears to me as though they're trying to walmartize live music.
Without the low prices, of course.
So Ween is the equivalent of Walmart product?

You could probably get ween albums there.

Maybe a local coffee shop V. Starbucks would've been a better analogy.

You do know that musictoday is owned by Live Nation, yes?
Yes I do.

Which is why I wait for public onsales.
ugh. i'm not stoked about seeing ween in a venue where i can only drink beer in the lobby.
Is their live show that bad? Or are you that much of an alcoholic?

no and no.
If you guys hate DAR that much, you can drive to Richmond the next night and see them at Toad's Place.

TAN: I honestly have never heard a Ween song that I know of.
No and yes :(

Julian, what is Toad's Place like? I've never been, and even though I don't dislike DAR, but I'd be open for a better option.

It's like the NorVa in Norfolk. Kinda like the 9:30 Club as well but a hair larger. It's GA and sounds OK, which seems to be people's two big whines about DAR.

hmmm…. what's the shape of Cornwell's voice these days? seems a bit pricey for what could be a real train wreck…
I'll be at Shadow/Cut Chemist.
