you'd really decide on which festival to go based on an avg high temperature…..sad.

I like sleeping outside.
how about the .63 inches of avg rainfall in George each May
compared to the .06 inches in Indio
shouldnt that factor in too?

I think they are allowed out of California, but I did hear that they were refused entry into Canada a couple of years ago. Outstanding warrants or some such hokum.

Don't be calling me a wuss. I hiked the Grand Canyon in 110 degree temps, and ran a marathon in 90 degree temps.
I would decide if I were going to a festival based on what else there is to do in the area. Washington State interests me. The desert of CA does not. I think we had that conversation last year?
As it is, I'll be in Napa and Sonoma tasting wines on Memorial Day weekend, then off to Yosemite for some hiking on Monday.
And studying for my final exam the weekend of coachella.

The Soundtrack are playing a gig in San Francisco on April 3 so it must be THE ONE AND ONLY CODE BLUE SO CAL TRUE SOUNDS OF LIBERTY (TSOL). How bummed am I?
TSOL just released a greatest "non-hits" at a Vegas release party 2 weeks ago. They're also working with Nitro to release a new album. Apparently they're feeling bold and are leaving the friendly confines of So Cal. I swear I'm thinking about flying back for this.

Billy Bragg has a rant about Kravitz and his inexplicable popularity. Bragg claims Lenny is the product of a senile group of record execs who think it's still the seventies. Bragg claims the execs all live in a posh seaside town in Long Island called the Framptons.

So, like I said, go to the Sasquatch Festival. Better bands, prettier country, better weather.
