Anthem

Also at the National in Richmond w/Erika Wennerstrom (Heartless Bastards) on 2/9
JRAD - 9/29/19 - The Anthem

What's the deal with bands announcing dates nearly a year in advance?
That’s messed up…more time to sell tickets for a show that will not sell out?

I just think it’s poor form to ask for money a year before delivering the service
Who is JRAD? Is he an friend of Craker?

Sounds like a bunch of Q&A and storytelling.

Sounds like a natural DC show. As in there are some people in DC with so much disposable income that they're willing to spend it on anything.

I wonder how much audience overlap this show will have with the Reese Witherspoon Anthem show?

Howard

perfect, didn't want to catch them in April at FSS, now can go to The Howard
$42 is reasonable, does The Howard offer discounts for buying at the box office…or is that only IMP

$8.00 (Service Fee)
$2.50 (Facility Charge)
$3.25 Order Processing Fee

so why is the order processing fee exist if there is a service Fee?
can't believe in this day and age the can charge an extra $11.25 ($2.50 if for Howard preservation fee) to buy something online that you don't even get mailed a physical ticket and not a single human is involved in the transaction

I know it's a scam/monopoly and I just need to deal

side note…how does The Howard stay in business…they get like one has-been show a week?…like that for months on end
Well the Howard started strong upon reopening but has been struggling past few years…I would not be surprised if they received money from DC government

There are just so many venues I feel a lot are struggling….the Hamilton used to get great bookings
