Von Bondies played Jammin Java around January of this year.  It was a pretty good show.

Yeah, I cannot confirm or deny but a little birdie told me Iota is having a very private show and social…a few politicians (former?) may be seen coming and going very, very quickly….if you stand outside you may get a glimpse. (dunno the times, I assume it's during the day for some reason) I think Last Train Home is playing…

Oh that's good to hear, I just heard a differing opinion of (I assume) a MD show.
Just checked my inbox and…no Blast for me this week.

zzzzz

Really? I didn't think they'd be big enough to headline the club. Hopefully they'll have a badass light show like they did at Cut Copy.
for Twanggirl:

TU Jan 13  JAMES INTVELD  8:30PM  $12 Iota

I couldn't be paid to see that show.

If this sells more tickets than Muse at the Patriot Center I'll lose faith in humanity.

yeah that was very embarassing!
anyone post this one yet?

Mon Jan 19- Hideout/ Chicago & Interchange Present: The Big Shoulders Inauguration Ball w/ ANDREW BIRD, TORTOISE, WACO BROTHERS, ELEVENTH DREAM DAY, JON LANGFORD, SALLY TIMMS, DAVID "HONEYBOY" EDWARDS, KEN VANDERMARK, FREAKWATER, ICY DEMONS and JUDSON CLAIBORNE, plus special guests. $50 Mainstage 7:00

chances that tweedy shows up at this one? 65-70%?
this just makes me sad that a Chicago venue will have a show in DC for inauguration, but my dear 9:30 Club will not?  lame
