I try not to restrict myself to one style of music.
Bands like slipknot, lamb of god, system of a down, killswitch engage, etc. always struck me as hacks who were trying too hard and came off looking like a bunch of clowns. And typically, the same could be said for their fanbases.
They're like the creeds/nickelbacks of metal.
But that's just one person's opinion.
