48 bucks plus service fees seems like too much money for this show.  I will probably just pick up lawn tickets next time I am at merriweather and avoid the fees.

It seems that their are GA floor tickets available quite a bit.  I went to the White Stripe and the Killer/Keane shows at Merriweather the day of the show  and got Floor tickets.  I also have them for MGMT even though I waited a while and picked and bought tickets at merriweather.  Perhaps they have more tickets if you actually buy them at the box office.  Or they release new ones over time.

Anyone know if Rock the Bells will be festival seating, like freefest was?

I fear it will be, whether anyone likes it or not.

It wasn't festival seating the last 2 years. I'm assuming it won't be this year either.

I got 4 floor tickets.

The site made it sound like the floor is standing. The last time I had floor seats at merriweather it was seated so im curious to see what difference it will make. Anyone know how many the floor holds when it's standing?

I also realized I'm going to have trouble getting to the show on time so I wish I would have just got really nice seated seats instead so I could get there late.

GA Floor is always standing.  They used to have seats down there long ago but it has been many years.  If you are tall you should have a good view from anywhere within the area.

5'11", which should be good enough.

I went to the Decemberists show last year and that had seating on the floor, any no standing areas.

I think certain shows has seats on the floor.  Phish will have seats on the floor.  Wish I could make it for the Arcade show but will be at Lolla  ;D

good question… the floor sits about 600, so i think you can double that.

you would have had trouble doing so… at least the "really nice" part.  center pavilion didn't come available until late in the game.  i gave up and grabbed 2 floors around 10:40, fifteen minutes later i managed to put the first center pavilion seats in my basket.  yes, i like torturing myself.

they still have them - they're removable.  some shows have a seated floor, others have a GA floor.  jazz fest and summer fest (erykah badu/roots/etc) both are non-GA/seated floor shows.

I got this, too.  I assumed it was a friend who signed me up as a joke, but I guess it's from another list.  I got a random email from Warner Bros. the same day (although I am on that list).  I wonder if they're sharing data.  hmmm…

The question would be did anyone who has given TM an email NOT get it?
