yes, they did a few tours together in the early 80's.

But now Maiden moves 20,000 tickets a show and Priest is lucky to hit 5,000

will be a sausage fest for sure

Is it me or does it seem like a lot of bands are starting or ending their tours in DC?

Summer Stage looks like a good option too

Unsure that it's a super group type thing…, per SVE's twitter, "I look forward to being able to see their sets more intimately and my hope is that we help everyone feel safe, loved, and cared for during the performances.  We love you and can’t wait to literally take this show on the road for the first time since 2019.  X"

So, 3 sets, maybe a collab here or there. Vas is out, because Julien Baker is bad.

but together, maybe they can pull 30,000…

while on the topic: Judas Priest to Perform as Four-Piece for First Time Since 1974.  seems like a strange decision, since priest is known for its twin lead guitars…
wet leg moved from philamoca (175 capacity) to underground arts (650 capacity); wonder if the DC show will move; but both Blackcat and 930 are booked that night.

Liked their last album, had no idea they were so popular (Lord Huron.) Would pick New Order/Pet Shop Boys over this show.

I remember liking their first release, but I think they quickly fell into that psuedo folk genre where every song had people yelling, "hey, ho!! woo!!" building to a striking crescendo. My advice, but a ticket day of for $7.99
