Israel@60: A Capital Celebration

also on the bill
Mandy Patinkin

Of all the muppets, Oscar? I'm wondering how this is gonna go down. Will he be the ignorant gentile that lives in a trash can? Maybe his parent's are Palestinian living in the West Bank?

Dino getting anything less than 75 minutes would be criminal.

Oscar - five letter name beginning with "O"

Clearly Oscar will portray Obama.

He will be cast as a devious appeaser, giving in to the islamonazifascist terrorist (who will be played by Animal).

My vacation planning sucks. I'll be missing Burning Brides and Mission of Burma.

The last Burning Brides show (Jaxx - opening for Helmet) was only so-so. The weak crowd was part of it, the fact that they only played stuff from Hang Love was the other part of it.
Rob Dickinson (Catherine Wheel)

6/23 Mercury Lounge

Thought youd appreciate this Bearman :) If Im not seeing Coldplay for free at MSG I'll definitely be there.
Damn…I love Catherine Wheel. Haven't seen Rob solo yet, haven't heard his records either. I put on "Adam and Eve" for the first time in years 2 weeks ago, what an underrated record. What a great band. Maybe he'll come to DC. Once upon a time WHFS gave CW some good airplay.
i was just listening to his solo stuff on myspace. Love it! He has a limited tour thus far from what I can tell, but you never know.
The Catherine Wheel song HMS probably played was 'Black Metallic' - great song.
On Tuesday 20th May Portishead will be doing a live session on the Radcliffe and Maconie show from their studio in Manchester broadcast on BBC Radio 2.

The show starts at 8pm and the band will be playing three songs live and chatting to Mark & Stuart.

They need to do east coast US shows soon. Best album of 2008, so far.
