Glad to see that Wilco news. I was looking on Pollstar and wondering if they'd be stopping in these parts between Norfolk and Boston. Is the info on their website?

I was able to find the dates on the HOTS US website, so I think they are official! I, alas, will miss their show because I will be in Tampa seeing The Pixies. So I will have to travel to another city to see them (probably Chicago). There is NO WAY I will miss this tour! For anyone just slightly contemplating going, GO! Jaguar will back me up on this.
DJ Wren @ Merriweather Post 8/10 & 11.

All those years of listening to border radio will finally payoff ;)

Indeed. I must say though that I was dissapointed to learn that rather than release the original recordings of Smile Brian is re-tracking the whole thing. Oh well. I'll still buy it.

The fanclub gets first crack at tickets today. The passcode was sent on a postcard, not through e-mails.

The folks on the REM HQ e-mail list will likely get a pre-sale message. Look for that a few days closer to the general public sale date (September 11).
Thanks for the explanation, R.C. I haven't seen R.E.M. since 1988…I'd love to see this show, and get good seats! ;)

I'm right in front of you - Row F.

Can't wait to hear Stipe on the night before the election.
Also in fow F. At $75/ticket I hope he keeps his politcal rantings to a minimum…
Does anyone (fan club members or 9:30 staph) have any idea of how many seats will be sold via the fan club presale?
