Nice. I've been hoping for an excuse to get back to Wolf Trap, and these will do nicely. I've never seen Prine or Emmylou, and after skipping Levon last summer I can't let myself make that mistake again.

Unfortunately, as I get older, more and more artists are falling into the "see them while they're still around" category.  :(

Prine puts on an excellent show.  You will enjoy I am sure.

I had tickets to see Frank Zappa at the Warner Theater.  It was when I was still at VCU and the show was the night before a HUGE exam, one of those that weeds out those who will not make it from those who will.  I made the choice to GIVE the tickets to a friend and study for the exam.  I NEVER got to see Frank.  Lesson learned.  Now if someone I want to see is coming within reasonable driving distance of me, I make a determined effort to go see them at whatever cost.  I was fortunate enough to see Mr James Brown front row exact cent in Charlottesville VA a mere three months before he passed away.

I've seen 10 Years and Fair to Midland before and i'm going to see them this time too. They played 9:30 2 years ago when I saw them.  Fair to Midland is especially good. They both put on a decent show.
Sinead has cancelled her tour due to bipolar disorder…

If Deftones promised to play "My Own Summer (Shove It)" on a loop for 45 minutes, I'M THERE.
