May I inquire as to where you found this date? It's probably the DC101 chili cookoff, which is fairly cringe-worthy, but I've always wanted to see STP.
June 16th @ 9:30 Club

The Melvins, Isis & Totimoshi

Hell yes.
Wednesdays in June at the 930 club:
2nd - Mono
9th - BJM
16th - Melvins/Isis

Not too shabby.
Melvins/Isis is a great bill but……..the 930?

Facebook and their web page.
just announced:

earthquakes are coming fast and furious since 2009.  prepare for your doom.  our country is due.  i wonder if george clooney cares about what happened in chili, or if another useless song remake is being prepared for the new dead one's exploitation . . . or is america bored of natural disasters already?  i mean come on, the oscars are right around the corner.
one of the members of vampire weekend just came out of the "we sound like paul simon" closest.  hooray for the gays.

Fri. 3/5
Moneytown @ Dahlak (1771 U St. NW DC)
10pm-3am
DJ Nitekrawler w/ special guest DJs:
Jason Hamlin & Mike Murphy (Mercy, Richmond VA)
Free.

Soooooo……. I know it's been a while. January was a break from the usual with a Black Dynamite Release Party
in lieu of Moneytown. Then February brought forth the snowpocalypse and canceled all events that weekend.
Let's just say that I know that you're itching for some SOUL, and both myself and my talented guest DJs are itching
to deliver it to you. I've got all kinds of new stuff to drop, and our guest DJ duo from Richmond: Jason Hamlin and
Mike Murphy, will have no problem rocking Dahlak to the ground. They hail from nearby
Richmond, VA where their record-related histories are legendary. Last year, they filled the significant shoes of the
now departed Richmond DJ team known as "The Scorpio Brothers", (who have since relocated to New York) and
took control of the party they founded; "Mercy". Expect plenty of surprises plus Virginia Funk & Soul
bangers that we can all appreciate on the dance floor. YES!

Also……
Moneytown is now being Sponsored by our friends at PBR, and that
means PBR specials each and every time! Let's start it off with $3 PBRs of any kind :)
