Yes Yes Yes Yes YESSSSSSSSSSSSS
Do I see papercuts/beach house or Spectrum? I'm torn.
this is a no-brainer: spectrum. beach house are ok, i've seen them a couple of times, but spectrum NEVER hits this area, and sonic boom is ALWAYS good. and the antiques are opening with a special set as well.
this is what buddyhead had to say about sonic boom's live show nowadays.

When we recently had the night off in Oslo, the fine folks from Serena Maneesh took us to see Sonic Boom play at a small club. Being big fans of Spaceman 3, we were pretty excited to see what homeboy was up to these days. To put things somewhat nicely, lets just say hes not up to a helluva whole lot. The first indication of the suckage was when we realized it was just gonna be him taping down keyboard keys and twisting knobs on a few delay pedals while he read gibberish from pieces of paper he had all over the place. Real exciting NOT! Aaron figured the second song in was the perfect time to let homeboy know how rad the show was when he shouted point-blank at him, SHIT YEAH, FUCK EM UP SONIC BOOM! DELAY PEDAL SOLO! WOO!
Once again, Papercuts/Beach House, FTW!
Pretty sure he's with a full band as spectrum but I could be wrong.

Umm, this is only her 2nd proper tour with the Dirty Delta Blues Band. Maybe you are referring to the Memphis Rhythm Band who she toured with for The Greatest.

If you have an opportunity to clarify (on the site whatever) would appreciate it. Had enough of the DDBB (four times this touring cycle).
Well I appreciate the attempted fact check, but I'm well aware of whom I'm referring to, in this case it was to shows in Barcelona on December 2nd, LA on New Years Eve, Lucerne on May 5th, and Chicago on July 14th with Eric Paparazzi, Judah Bauer, Gregg Foreman, and Jim White aka DDBB NOT MRB who stopped touring in November.
Ahh, ok. Well the 930 show on Nov 15th is with the DDBB according to Pollstar. Good for us who haven't seen her with DDBB as it's their first time in DC.

Hopefully that's just another Pollstar F up, I heard they were not playing past Atlanta, which was why I asked for confirmation originally as the billing seldom leaves them out if they're there. But if it is indeed the first time DDBB have played DC more power to them, but I'm not buying a ticket until the ambiguity is gone.
All Cat Power shows with DDBB per the booking agent:

pollstar has been particularly terrible lately - all the interns must be away on summer holiday or something. whatever the reason, they've been near useless over the past few weeks, i've pretty much given up on checking with PS and go straight to the band's website as soon as i hear something - typically from this thread. thanks!
I've never trusted Pollstar with any concert dates whatsoever. I think I looked there once for a concert date and it was wrong by a couple days. I wonder why the site still exists!

My money was that they witnessed an E.A.R. show which pretty much consists of him doing what you just quoted, Spectrum (if it's like when they played the Black Cat 9-10 years ago) should be a proper band with discernable songs (I'm hoping "Just To See You Smile" finds it's way on the setlist somehow).
Govt mule is playing 930 club october 12th and 13th

At a minimum, our 5 "biggest" shows are all ages. Can't do much about some of the other unfortunately.
