Just Announced

Drew Daniel @DDDrewDaniel:
Attn: MATMOS will be the special guests playing with Thomas DiMuzio at the Red Room this Tuesday night in Baltimore, Maryland. ALL AGES!
Is that tonight?
That State Theater show was not nearly sold out…  I felt like a basketball team on the floor – ie, there were like 10 of us.

Check out Hutch's ass. It's talking again. Ok, they almost (but didn't) sold out the State Theater (smaller capacity than 9:30 btw).  Then they played the Fillmore (attendance figure?). Now they are playing Wolftrap. Good thing they got a hot top 40 hit out to buoy them from NOT selling out a 800-900 person venue to playing a 7,0000 person venue.

Wolftrap: Seating capacity: 7,000 total (in-house: 3,800; lawn: 3,200)

WELCOME TO THE STATE THEATRE
Your best independent choice in the Washington DC market

CAPACITY

500 all seated, theatre style
800 half seated / half standing (standard)
900++ all standing

The 9:30 Club is served by the U Street station of the Washington Metro. The club has a capacity of 1200 people and is a standing-only venue.

Apparently yes. He tweeted that at 1:32 this morning and Dimuzio is playing tonight.
This is happening at the Arlington CD Cellar with Foul Swoops.

Big Country…Mike Peters of The Alarm is now singing????
Playing at some club in Leesburg???

11/6 @ Tally Ho

Saw a flyer in a pizza parlor in far north loudon county.

^ May be a UK/US switch, Big Country is 11 June.

So would people actually prefer listen to Mike Peters singing Big Country songs over him singing Alarm songs?  That is strange.
I actually loved both bands when i was in junior high.  The Crossing holds up better than any Alarm album.  But I'd take neither at this point.
Everyone's favorite BYT and Durkl present FAT LIP! with live performances from local MC's DDM and Farma Wesley! PLUS I'll be DJing for them, in between acts, and all night after the show! Come out and dance!

Damn… thought that said Arlington, Va.
I did too at first… I couldn't figure out where in the hell they were going to put it in Arlington…
Any word on the venue for that Girls Against Boys show?

Oh my goodness. I keep telling myself I won't go back to that place….but cripes!

I still have never ventured to the R&R Hotel, not a good experience?  I think I've read it gets crowded and its hard to get to.  Anything else?
It's a rock show - just go and have fun! The venue is fine.
