Just Announced

Then I'll never listen to them again!!!!!!

Actually, I always thought that the entire 12 Golden Country Greats album was just a serious of songs about gay guys.  And it certainly would explain all of his problems with women (You Fucked Up, Birthday Boy, etc. etc.).

on the phish phorum board, there is a thread going about the fact the gene ween is gay, and that there are plenty of reasons to think it.  from the various songs to the cover of the mollusk.  very interesting.
Instant hardon for NKOTB!

no. oh hai. posting.
Sure, your wife is much hotter than him. But maybe it's all about the personality for you when it comes to mancrushes.

And Calla, Walkonby started it…his post wasn't a show announcement!

pretty douchey having to pay a "parking fee" as part of the fees above the face value, and then have to park across the street at the mall.  can i get something from the food court as well?
it is douchey to add that fee in, I agree.  But it is so easy to use the mall, i dont even notice the fees anymore.  The first show i went there when i first moved to MD almost had me never want to go back.  Took hours to exit there lot.  When i found the mall right there and its parking lot, (first MPP show was my first time to Columbia) and now MPP is my favorite big venue on ease of parking and leaving. Nissan on the other hand, im still bitter about the mothers day 08 Radiohead fiasco.

besides the radiohead incident and the parking problems and the locations throw out . . . merriweather vs. nissan.  which is a better venue for sound / sight / bathrooms / beer / broads / brahs / acts?

call me douchy . . . but i'm still in love with the tranquil setting of pier six in the inner harbor.
merriweather vs. nissan?  absolutely no question: MPP, hands-down.  not even close.

its cause youre a dirty hippie.

and also, i just want to point out that every Radiohead show is a fiasco for someone. it seems.  if it wasnt the traffic goign to merriweather, the rain at nissan….its some cancellation or lightning.  come on

Maybe radiohead should do a tour where they play a show in the living room of each one of their american fans.  then no one will be stuck in traffic, wet, hungry or tired.

and we could choose how much to pay.

To my understanding, this might be a GA show at the Student Actvities Center, and NOT at Lisner.

are we talking the british band ghost, who released "The World Is Outside"?  their website and band page have no tour information… where did you see this?  any other dates, like philly or NYC?

The show space is a little room upstairs with a bar, open floor and some booths, and a low corner platform/stage. Nothing fancy, but the intimacy is sort of nice. I've only been there twice (and only once for a show), but the sound seemed fine, though the people I saw were pretty quiet in general. I'm sure someone who's been more could be more useful.
