Just Announced
anyone know the presale code for Smashing Pumpkins? I got a friend who's looking for it
I have… a friend… who would like the Pumpkins presale password, too. ;) Yes, seriously. PM me if you know it. Thanks!
No friend, I just want to get Pumpkins tickets. I'll be driving tomorrow at 10 when they go on regular sale, so this is my only chance. :-[

Is there any doubt? Presale sold out very fast and that was password protected.

also, in tickets at 9:30 Club are unjustifiably expensive news, Lisa Hannigan tickets are $25
$25 last time she played too. decent - but not at that price.
I don't recall it being that expensive. But she's $15 in Baltimore, which is much more reasonable for an artist who isn't super popular in these parts, and is supporting a 2nd album after a completely forgettable first album.

Rather than adding some competition to the market and driving inflated ticket prices down, they're just as ridiculous in their ticket pricing. I'm over it. You can find me at the Black Cat or Red Palace.
In other words…
You're a 20something girl with choppy hair who hasn't landed the big promotion at work.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

you're always first to point out how expensive shows are and how you'd rather see 10 bands at $10 each instead of one show @ $100… but apparently your need to mock others is stronger than your desire to be consistent ;)
Did you read the "not that there's anything wrong with it" line?
I'm a 40something guy with choppy hair who hasn't landed the big promotion at work. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
And it seems like I wasn't the first to point out how expensive these shows are.
