Can someone book Clap Your Hands Say Yeah for October 18th?

Their tour ends on the 17th in Carrboro and they have to swing through this area to get back to NYC. It looks like they have never played DC.

With The National too, please. Don't make me have to drive to Philly for this show…

Or can we squeeze 'em in sometime between these dates:

09/10 Philadelphia, PA @ Khyber
09/14 Cambridge, MA @ TT the Bear's

Not 9/11 though, since I already have tix for Sigur Ros :D
I concur, a Clap Your Hands DC show would be amazing. Do you think they'd play the Black Cat or maybe an even smaller venue like the DC9 or Iota?
If it's The National w/ Clap Your Hands, I think it would be at Black Cat. I'd prefer if it wasn't at DC9 or Iota - I like being able to get tix in advance
Would you pay $50-$55?

kites delivered an ace set at tonic this past weekend. swung his mic around, shattered a couple of the light fixtures.. broken glass flying everywhere. i'll make sure to bring safety goggles for the dc9 show.
Wow, that is soooo ace. Dou you think he had to practice that light fixture move much?

hah.. well y'know he does a bit more than just swinging his mic around.. his sounds were great too. i'm sorry he doesn't sport a sissy tie, spike his hair up and croon like robert smith. would that be more to your liking?
He doesn't do all those things? Are you SURE this band is from NYC?
