Just Announced

I am Flaming Lips, burnt out. Their last few shows, that I attended were awesomeness, yes, but similar all the same. I have not even listened to them, or thought about them in like forever.

Plus, I have never been to that venue . . . and, it scares me.

sweet! I've been seeing clips and the shows look great.  although I will say, I really think they can't call it the pistols without Mr Rotten,
they should be touring under a different name

but were they? come on, there is no pistols with out mr rotten.  Would have just been another riffy pub band
the rest of the team are decent musicians and atually play pretty standard stuff,  rotten was the change agent

I saw the Germs at the Black Cat without Darby Crash, and everyone was like "No Darby, No Germs". But to this day that was the most punk rock, wild, and electric show I've ever seen. They absolutely killed. I'm willing to go along with the Sex Pistols name and will judge based on what I see.
