Dammit, why are all the good shows going to RnRH lately? The Black Cat is dropping the ball.
Just depends on your taste, really. I see more shows on the Black Cat schedule that I'm tempted by, moreso than RNRH.

Probably with another major label crappy band?

Apparently Honey Honey and Matt Nathanson are openers

I'm psyched for that show. The songs I've heard off the new album kick it.

Why yes, yes they do.
The new album is fantastic.
Do ya'll remember when Black Mountain OPENED for Coldplay couple years ago? It was very weird…

Sonar, Baltimore

They are also playing Asheville (Orange Peel) 03.20 and Charlotte (Neighborhood Theatre) on 03.21. Shall the carpooling plans commence now?

They're hardly a band worthy of a road trip for.

I rather enjoyed the last trip I took to North Carolina to see them, but I guess they're not worth it for everyone.
Perhaps some people just like to road trip more than others. :) At this point, I could probably count on one hand the number of bands that I'd drive more than 50 miles to see. And chances are they'd come to DC at some point anyway, which is less than a 20 mile drive!
