I remember seeing EmmyLou for FREE at Borders downtown. They used to get some pretty decent sized names for free in-stores around DC back 10+ years ago. Of course it probably helped for that one specifically that her daughter worked at that Borders store.

well that is true… I went to a few myself..but one can't compare those in-stores to a concert….
Meet and greets are a joke. You get 5 seconds with the artist; you're shuffled in and shuffled out; you get to smile say Hey; you get a photo with your own phone and only one photo and then you're told to get the f*** out.

Yeah I caught them at the club in 2009 with Ghostface. Fun show and an average concert crowd.
