I wonder if my daughter will ask to blow the family five year concert budget in one night.

looks like you'd have to plan a family vacation as well to catch a show… nothing local.
Somewhat glad no DC date…as I won't be presured to spend $500 on this

On that note, may do Glastonbury this year if Eminem decides to headline

Sounds like a terrible idea.

That's a tasty reason to head to C'ville for a three day weekend.

nah, this one has been on my bucket list for a while, obviously won't be the same experience with a 13 yr old, but would make a vacation out of it with just the two of us
I did Glasto around 2003 (I could figure out the exact year by reviewing schedules) and man, what a scene. Would not want to do it now at my current age.

How many tickets are you expecting to get for a mere $500?

That sounds about right. I though you had more than one kiddo? My wife would probably insist on better seats than nosebleeds and my daughter would probably insist on it being girls only.

My birthday is the weekend before the Philly show and oddly i had been thinking of going to Philly for my birthday.

so I guess you should start saving now, need to get those VIP seats with the special laminate lanyard (that actually has no value)
person I know on FB just posted this
Casually booked refundable hotel rooms in both Philly and Pittsburgh hoping to score some Taylor Swift tour tickets!

Jules are you using a pseudonym of a middle-aged mother on FB?

Can you really discount the possibility that I'm a middle-aged mother who is using the Julian pseudonym on here?
