This just went on sale.  I am guessing it will sell out fast.  I got my two already.
Got mine's.
Me too.  Don't know if I can go, but that set around Person Pitch was too good for me to pass up on the chance I can make it.

Wasn't it?

P.S. I think Joe is skipping this due to poor reviews he read of his PF and Primavera sets on blogs like Brooklyn Vegan.

:laughs at Joe mockingly:
Actually it was neither from PF or Brooklynvegan, but rather from personal reviews from people who attended the fest (posted to forums).  PF will never give a negative review to Panda Bear…..they are very consistent that way.

Worst set I saw at Lollapalooza.
I thought you linked me to some bad reviews on BV (isn't their comments section essentially a forum on its own?)

They play what is basically the same song multiple times and jump around. Hey, they seem nice and I'm happy they got some recognition, but there really isn't much to them, especially live. And their Lolla set was a very good example of that.
9/24 is still open at the club. Will there be another V-Fest pre-party this year with one of the bands a la The Hold Steady last year? If so, who are the possibilities? Pavement will be playing their last Central Park show while LCDSS will be in Philly so it's not either of them.
Joe, man, you gotta LIVE life, not read about it, maaaaaaan.

It's funny, that was the same night as Wilco at Merriweather, which I was gonna skip out on to see Panda Bear.  Turned out Wilco was amazing that night (and I figured Panda Bear really wouldn't be), so I stayed for their whole set.  PB ran late, so I manged to catch both.  Pretty killer night, all said and done.

^^nkotb, not a Panda Bear fan, so I wasn't gonna go anyway…!  but i'll have the opportunity to see him with a bunch of other bands first week of September while I'm in LA. I'll have an open mind….

Last year it was a private-ish party for Virgin Mobile employees who came from all over the country. Pat Mahoney DJed, as did Will Eastman.  I'd imagine Virgin Mobile might do the same thing again.
Yeah, I remember that. That was the late show.

The early show was your favorite band ever.
