I saw the first night of that Phili NIN show and was so disapointed. 2 new songs? If I want to hear pretty hate machine, Ill put the cd in.

No dates set yet, but Dave mentioned fall U.S. possibly w/Weezer.

Holy mother, I'll sell my future children for pit tickets….

I heard about half hour of Foo on Howard. The rest is taped for me to listen to later! Grohl also mentioned on "24 hours of Foo" that the U.S. tour will be this fall. He didn't mention the Weezer bit, but that's a rumor that's been floating around.

I don't know. I turned it off as soon as they were done playing and they went to commercial.

Howard loves him/them too! He asked Dave to play drums with his now defunct band. Said he'd open for them if they played in NYC.
They played one recorded full band song – w/ JPJ (John Paul f'in Jones) on keys!! It's awesome. Howard said they didn't need JPJ the song was amazing on it's own. Then talked about Led Zepplin. (This song is what caught my ear - I never listen to radio.)
Then they performed (live) acoustic "Best of You". Dave said his voice was all messed up b/c they had two hours of sleep. Howard said that a messed up voice can work. Dave said that's what happened in "Everlong".
Talked about Courtney…how new stuff will inevitably be released by Nirvana. Sorry for the droll OT…
OH and they played their cover of Creed's "Arms Wide Open" w/ changed lyrics. Hysterical.

Yup, I taped it at home, so I'll have a cassette of them on Howard…

Woops, I have a cassette of the radio show, not a VHS of the Letterman appearance. I do, however, have all 24 hours of them on MTV2 on VHS…lots of videos and live performances…

Weezer said on their website that the bands had difficulties "scheduling" a tour within their other individual plans. They are playing a few Canadian shows in July together.

Wondering if it would be big enough to be an MCI center show like the Green Day/Blink 182 show a few years ago?

No, I'd doubt it…they played Patriot Center last time through, and didn't sell it out.
