And like Eddie Vedder, they're all grossly overpriced.

Did they take this down? The link doesn't come up with anything. Searching tells me there are dates in the area, but then leads me to this "no tickets" page.
The Eddie Vedder shows are listed on the Warner Theater's website, so I wouldn't worry about it.
eddie vedder solo at warner.

if you like pearl jam, or worship pearl jam, and have never seen him solo, or even never seen them as a band, or seen them five hundred times, this is a WARNER solo show. one of the nicest venues in dc. take your drinks to your seats (four at a time if you like). three bars, nice bathrooms, excellent staff, go out and come back to smoke, if you like cancer. wahhhh, it is blanky blank price tag. wahhh, if people didn't leak everybody's music for free and steal money from the artist like people do on the internet (the ones that have bitched about how the record companies stole from the artists all these years) like they are the new record companies themselves, maybe it wouldn't be blanky blanky dollar amount to be bitched about. or maybe it's gas.
sorry, one more. wahhh, it's NOT listed on the warner theatre website.
Sounds to me like you're doing more bitching than anyone else here.

This downloading thing really bothers you, doesn't it? ;)

one, yes. i love to bitch. i'm working on that. i really am. two, yes. it is like some scientology based pre life cognition, such as when the lp folks rebuked the cassette tape, and the tape folks shunned the cd. i like my tangible item with pretty artwork and pictures to look at. is that so wrong, world?

How much was it to see PJ at the Verizon Center - $68 plus fees or something, right? But EV on his own is somehow MORE expensive? lame lame lame.
Yeah.. this is the same dude who fought ticketmaster tooth and nail in 1994/95… now doing $77 Clear Channel shows. What a joke.. Fucking hypocrite. This is the same guy that hangs out with Ian MacKaye everytime he's in town (always giving props to Mt. Pleasant at DC PJ shows) but instead of doing shows in the vein of $5. church shows like his idol, he does $77 Clear Channel shows.

I get it that it's hard for a major band like Pearl Jam to do shows without going through TM/CC …but solo he could've easily done it.

…and I wonder how much of the time on stage will be spent talking about politics instead of playing songs.

he was a pretty good schtick act back in the day…but his whole "death metal" thing now is horrible. caught some of his new songs on myspace…terrble. his over cheesy pop was fun.
the first two Reggie albums are great.

i don't understand how people can say eddie vedder is overpriced..it will sell out in a few minutes…

if anythinng its underpriced (at least if you understand price in economic terms)..

you will see that its underpriced when tickets start going on ebay for hundreds of dollars..

the reality is that nowadays with these types of shows if an artist charges less than the market can bear the scalpers pick up the difference…

I totally agree. You also have to facotr in how small of a venue he's playing as opposed to the usual 20,000 person arenas PJ usually plays.

It's because the average person is a moron. This is the answer to most questions.
