Good old ticketfly-by-night screwed me again. I got back from my meeting, checked for Sleater-Kinney tickets, saw 2/24 was sold out but 2/25 was added, tried to get a ticket, but it said "none available". I refreshed the screen a couple of times, same result. Then, I got a different message saying that all tickets were in other carts, try again. Which means that when it was first saying "none available", t-fly was probably lying.
I hate t-fly more than ever. For shows for which you can't buy tickets at the club, I wish the 9:30 would find someone better. In this case, I wish they had sold the tickets at the club ONLY, like they did for the Foo Fighters last May.
Screw ticketfly-by-night.

Looking again, on both the 9:30 site and the Sleater-Kinney site, the "buy tickets" icon is still active, but if you click either, t-fly claims that no tickets are available. I think that t-fly is full of crap, as usual.
No offense, but the night two tickets were available for over an hour after the onsale date. If you can't get tickets within an hour, you're doing something wrong.
No offense taken. What I'm doing wrong is working for a living and being in meetings until 11:30, as I noted in an earlier post.

My apologies, kind sir.

Yes. As I noted, I was in a meeting (I'm at work) and I tried when I got back to my desk. It would have been great to be able to try earlier, but my specific gripe is with the t-fly ticket system that I encountered at 11:30 or so.
sorry dude, I might have an extra for the 1st show. I'll keep you in mind.

No surprise there. This is why I commented that I wish the 9:30 had handled ticketing for these shows the way they handled ticketing for the Foo Fighters last May.

Many thanks for the thought. If so, I assume you can contact me through the forum sign-in system. Are you a 9:30 employee? I don't visit the forums that often, but you id rings a bell.
No, not an employee

not sure why you are having an issue…still tix available for 2nd night?
Edit…take that back…something isn't working right as I put them in my cart and only parking was available
sorry bro
Will say…a little annoyed about this
Order Processing $4.00
Service Fee $12.00
$4 for a freaking website click?
what the hell is the service fee for?
the entire service charge for the presale tickets was a bit under $5
ticketfly is worse than ticketmaster and sadly are taking over pretty much venue because, you guessed it, they are giving them a nice cut of those fees…
i just wish they gave you an all in price…its shady to say the show costs $30 when it costs $40 or whatever…
but i don't blame the ticketfly service as much as the venues and artists who profit from it..

Hmm, no! and how would that help you if you have meetings?
For me 1 click or driving 2 hours makes a little difference.

The difference is that it thwarts the stubhubbers.
Your points are well-taken, however.
damn, i should've known they would've done a 2nd show!

Vas -
I got your PM and tried to reply, but you inbox is full.
Thanks for the info - I really do appreciate it. Unfortunately for me, I'm just seeing your message now (5:25 p.m.), and every time I checked this afternoon, and when I checked just now, it has still been sold out.
Seriously, though, thanks.
Rumor of yet another Foo show at a larger venue.
