Again, no DC date = weak. :(

About freakin' time.
Sat Oct 25- MIRAH, NO KIDS $15 Mainstage 9:00 (on sale Aug. 15)

I heard the crowd were a bunch of chatty disrespectful assholes last time she played there.

No Kids' opening set for Dirty Projectors last spring was nice.

The DMBQ openers are Awesome Color and Pit Er Pat. That's a strong lineup.

They totally were. But she wasn't very good at dealing with them, either. She just got frustrated. I think having one of her songs featured on So You Think You Can Dance will bring a lot more kids to the show…not sure if they understand concert etiquette.

BTW, SO many shows announced in the Blast today. I'm pretty much prepared to not sleep from the end of August to the end of October…
Also, looks like they moved Cold War Kids from the 25th to the 18th, or else I just wrote it down wrong the first time…
She's kind of an ugly no-talent hag though isn't she?

I'm gonna start posting more NYC shows that look appealing to me out of spite for the anti-nyc show post people (not really but this one looks better than anything going on in dc that night so far):

Friday October 31st @ venue tba

:: TODD P / PANACHE BIG HALLOWEEN BASH

:: AIDS Wolf
:::: DMBQ
You just go right ahead, and we'll keep skipping by them. But if it pleases you to read your own writing, go right ahead. ;)

fail. nothing was from PF. it was all from e-mails from the bands.

funny, i thought this thread was for posting news like this. who made you Board Police?
also 100%-pitchfork free, and equally likely to piss off people here:

Buckethead
Fri 10/10/08 Towson, MD Recher Theatre
Sat 10/11/08 Falls Church, VA State Theatre
Mon 10/13/08 Norfolk, VA NorVa
Tue 10/14/08 Richmond, VA The National
I saw him a couple times.

Once with Les Claypool/Bernie Worrell/Brain at nation (huge disappointment) and once with Brain and some other dude on bass at 930 (enjoyable).
